The Wallace Family 2011 Holiday Letter

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Howdy Partners;

We are bunking down for the winter at Nellis AFB in 60 – 70 degree weather. We crossed back into the USA on September 17th from New Brunswick, thus ending our Maritime Adventure (to include Newfoundland and Labrador). We entered the Maritimes in mid –June. What an adventure - New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island (PEI) and Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. We took 16 ferries, saw over 50 lighthouses, fantastic icebergs, Moose, Eagles, Humpback Whales playing, and other wildlife. The locals were extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was great – lots of seafood (fresh Malpique Oysters, Digby Scallops, lobster, cod and haddock). We ate fresh strawberries and blueberries for “nine” springs starting in North Carolina and ending in St. Anthony Newfoundland. Farmer’s Markets were plentiful with fresh homegrown vegetables throughout our journey. If you haven’t seen our Maritime travel journal you can see it at http://www.goodsam.mytripjournal.com/reggimichaelwallace. You can see our 2010 Alaskan adventures at – web.me.com/regmikewall. We will be in Las Vegas until end of February 2012, then we will hitch up the horses and mosey on down to Disney World. In May, we will leave from New York on a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas. Then it is onto to Niagra Falls, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto , and upstate New York for the summer. We have not decided where we will be next winter, maybe Arizona… Thanks for keeping in touch & Happy Trails –

Reggi & Mike
