(Ret) Bruce Gerrity, USAFA '68, flew west and heaven-bound March 23,2023.
He is survived by a daughter, Aleisha ('68 surprise baby), discharged
in 2000, and grandson, Max, 14. He also has three sisters, Elaine,
Nancy, Barbara and a brother Brian, '83 graduate. We remember so many
wonderful times together. RIP sweet mentor and wingman. We love and
miss you colonel.
Born in Scranton, Pa., to Don (Army combat engineer, D-Day Normandy)
and nurse Betty Gerrity. Captain of Bishop Egan football team, '64.
USAFA superintendent's list, CS-14. Cadet wing staff. AFA Lacrosse
team captain. Willie Pilot training. C-7, Vietnam. C-141 McGuire AFB.
T-39 Scott AFB and MAC staff. Astra officer, Pentagon. Vice Chief
Air Mission for Presidents Reagan, Ford and Carter. NATO Defense College,
Rome. JSOC commander, ASD SOLIC. Finished life happy and golfing in
Myrtle Beach, S.C. Kuala Lumpur International Airport security architect.
Webster University professor teaching security courses. Auburn, Webster
master's degrees. Never married, but many diamond earrings purchased
for the bachelorette #1-100 contestants. God bless you Buddy, we'll

Obituary
Bruce Alan Gerrity, age 76, passed away, March 23, 2023, at his residence.
Bruce was born April 30, 1946, in Scranton, PA., a son of Donald J.
and Betty Capwell Gerrity. Bruce was a US Air Force Veteran after
26 years of service, retiring as a Colonel. During his time in the
Air-Force he flew Air Force 1 for President Jimmy Carter and President
Ronald Reagan.
Services will be held at a later date
at Arlington National Cemetery.
