Moody UPT Class 70-01 - 56th Anniversary Reunion - October 2025

Moody AFB, held its 56th reunion in Colorado Springs/USAFA in October.
About half of that class were grads. Thirteen UPT members attended this
year’s reunion visiting the Academy and the National Museum of WWII
Aviation. The Academy visit was hampered with the Government shutdown
but classmate Charlie Coolidge stepped in as tour guide to make it a memorable
tour. The museum is a great (hidden) place to visit with two dozen restored
and flyable aircraft. We saw four of them giving rides to museum volunteers.
We attended an Air Force versus Denver hockey game. DU is a top rated, NCAA Champion, team with a dozen members offered a place on NHL teams. Air Force held them scoreless until the last four minutes when DU tied the game 1-1. AF lost in a shootout after overtime. Great game. The visit included a visit to the SEA Memorial Pavilion where four grads posed by Pegasus: Bruce Buono, John Dunham, Skip Pardee and Charlie Coolidge. Next year is San Diego. Bruce |
