ANNOUNCEMENTS AND STATUS REPORTS

Academy approval - Academy support for reunion dates (October 4-6) is formally approved.

Reunion registration - Registration page to "go live" May 15th.

Hotel reservations - DoubleTree registration site is up and running. To make hotel reservations for reunion go to class Web site at usafa68.org and click on Reunion page (Reunion "68 We're Great) and then on "Reunion Hotel." To get reunion rate must make reservations by September 3.

Friday dinner program - Program for Friday evening Dinner will be SILENT with projection of photographs and text slides. Cost of projection equipment will be paid by eliminating other expenses.
Special thanks to Pat Russell for help creating the program.

Living in Colorado Springs information - Information on advantages and disadvantages of move to Colorado Springs is in survey of local classmates now posted on class Web site (usafa68.org)

Doolie squadron gatherings - several independent squadron representatives are organizing doolie squadron meetings at reunion. The reunion committee has given them several options and times.

Reception and dinner costs negotiated - Thursday reception will be $32 and include cash bar and hors d' oeuvres. Thursday dinner will include four entrée options with prices from $47 to $64 with service fees included.

Friday lunch - We will have at least 50 slots for lunch in Mitchell Hall but most lunches will be picnic style and served in the Field House/Cadet Arena. Carl Janssen volunteered to organize tours of athletic facilities to coincide with lunch.

Friday parking and transportation - Parking will be at Field House/Arena and busses will run from there to cadet area. Cost and exact routes not yet determined by Academy

DECISIONS

Transportation assistance - decided to include question regarding mobility issues in registration material and attempt to meet needs after we know them.

Registration "gift" - after discussion of nearly an hour failed to select a "gift." Bill Eckert will explore possibility of giving classmates multiple options.

Registration deadlines, late fees and cancellation policies - decided to follow AOG recommendation or practice from past reunions. Several fees and schedule items have not been set by Academy or AOG and we were not able to create a specific schedule at this time.

Next meeting is scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, April 4 -NOTE THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING IS TO CREATE FINAL BUDGET AND SCHEDULE. IT MAY BE CANCELLED OR POSTPONED IF WE DO NOT YET HAVE SCHEDULE AND FEES FROM AOG/ACADEMY
