I have had the pleasure of serving as an AOG board director for 6 years now. I was a dedicated observer a year before that. I was your class senator for a total of 10 plus years. It has been my honor to work with some of the greatest and hardworking people I know, AND I have another two years remaining on the AOG BOD. Thank you for your trust and confidence in placing me on the Board.

Here's where we are . . . Two board motions I want you to vote for . . .

For the last 5 years or so you, have been bombarded with the requirement for the AOG's need to meet "A 25% quorum is required." It is still a requirement for this election BUT it could be the last time if you vote yes on the 2nd proposed bylaw change that affects Article XII, Section 1. You elected the board - - -so give them the tools they need to do the job - please! NOTE: The option for any AOG member to propose a bylaw change directly to the membership remains. Take my word for it and vote yes! It is the right thing to do. This is an add - nothing is removed . . .

The first motion is about allowing the Class Advisory President to exercise their full ex-officio duties without the limits placed in the bylaws in 2006. We would remove the words "without vote" allowing the CAS President to vote on board motions.
